I am "Katarina", I live in Nebraska though I have lived all over the country. I found this place on a bad day (today) finals week just ended feeling drained physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. This is not a good combination for a recovering addict or a girl who was raised as dysfunctionally as mine. I have always felt a connection to vampires, I think it started around the age 10. Before there was such a thing as Goth or Emo, I was one. In the 90s when I was first introduced to the internet, I found others who were like me and through the years I have come to understand me. It wasn't easy, I often felt like everyone around me were the way they were because of me but I could never understand how that was possible. On the flip side of that, which I can't understand even now, is how I can also heal and soothe. IDK guess I am just looking for somewhere I belong. Thanks for being here!
